Paintings

Dad painted these and many others throughout his entire life.  When he wasn't creating comic art, he painted and sketched almost every day just for the joy of it.  He loved to go down to the Brooklyn dockyards and paint the boats while Philip and I skampered around exploring the vessels "on the hard."  To this day, I attribute my love of boats and things nautical to those wonderful times.
